Is the hijab transparent?
Chiffon is naturally slightly translucent. Thanks to the pleating which densifies the fabric, coverage is improved, but we recommend wearing an underscarf (bonnet) for total opacity.
How to keep the pleats after washing?
Wash it at a low temperature (30°C maximum) and let it air dry. It does not require any ironing. If you must use an iron, set it to the lowest temperature so as not to flatten the pleats.
Does the fabric slip?
Like all chiffon, the fabric is fluid and lightweight. For optimal hold throughout the day, we advise you to use a cotton bonnet and snag-free pins.
What colours go well with teal?
